Welcome to Village Christian Academy!

Village Christian Academy, affiliated with Village Baptist Church, is a fully accredited non-denominational Christian school nestled in the heart of Fayetteville, North Carolina.  Centrally located to Fort Bragg and all surrounding areas, our campus is located in beautiful facilities on twenty acres off McPherson Church Road.  In the surrounding community, we are the largest K-12, private, college-preparatory school with approximately 800 students.  Providing excellence in the classroom along with extracurricular activities, we intend to inspire students to leave our halls to make a positive difference in the world.

Elementary students enrolled in kindergarten through second grade are taught by certified teachers and teacher assistants. In third and fourth grade, certified teachers work together as team teachers.  A transitional class between kindergarten and first grade supplies students with more intense training before entering first grade.  All the elementary classes instruct in a nurturing atmosphere while challenging students.  This insures that all receive a thorough, well-grounded foundation through the curriculums based on  ACSI and ABeka.  Extra enrichment  is offered for each class through weekly attendance in  art, music, computer, band, library science, chapel, the Accelerated Reading Program, and physical education.  Students participate in fields trips that afford learning outside the classroom.  Our students leave elementary grades with a love for learning and a love for school.

During the formative years of middle school , students find stimulating classes that promote academics, responsibility, and critical thinking.  With the use of ASCI, Summit Ministries, and Prentice Hall curriculums, students receive a well-rounded and challenging course of study.  In addition to core classes such as English, math, science, history, and Bible, students may choose electives in fine arts, technology, and physical education that broaden their scope of learning.  With weekly chapel services and various community and missions service projects, students not only grow in their relationship with the Lord but also put their faith into action.  There are also opportunities to participate in ASCI competitions, which includes both academic and fine arts events or to compete athletically in one of seven JV sports or three middle school sports.  By the time, students complete their eighth grade year, they are prepared to handle the academic challenges that await them in high school.

Academics have a high priority in the high school.   To help them prepare and advance in  their future scholastic endeavors, students may select from honors, advanced placement, and college credit courses.   In addition to those courses, students  may choose from a variety of electives  in technology, fine arts, physical education, business, and writing.  Weekly chapel services and community service projects enable students to deepen their faith.  With fifteen different varsity  sports to choose from, or involvement in student government, band or chorus, our high school students never lack for opportunities to be busy!

Overall, our school has an award winning technology and fine arts program with three computer labs and art studios.  We have an active parent-teacher organization, athletic and fine arts organization, a 15,000 volume media center, and a full-time nurse on campus.  All this enables us to meet our school’s mission:  to provide a Christ–centered environment and education that will nurture our students spiritually, academically, physically, and socially so that they may walk in Biblical truth.

Village Christian Academy admits students of any race, color, national, and ethnic origin to all rights, privileges, programs, and activities generally accorded or made available to students at the school. It does not discriminate on the basis of race, color, national, and ethnic origin in administration of its educational policies, admissions' policies, scholarship and loan programs, athletic and other school-administered programs.
