The Knights welcomed the Spartans from Kerr Vance Academy for a non conference match. The Spartans scored the first goal of the match early on, but the Knights were able to tie the score by a successful PK by Bobby Muench with 39 seconds left in the half. After only a minute of play in the second half, the Knights got their second and final goal from Anderson Branch with an assist by Daniel C.. Mid-way through the second half, the Spartans tied the match with a quick strike up the middle.

The Knights opened their home soccer season by hosting St. David’s. John Henderson took a free kick from the left side of the field and placed the ball in front of the goal for a quick header by Alec Powers. Soon afterwards, John Henderson shot from the left side of the goal and placed the ball just past the near post scoring the Knight’s second goal of the match. Within a few minutes, Bobby Muench took the ball up the right side of the field and scored the third goal of the match. The final goal by the Knights came late in the second half. Hunter Z. worked his way up the middle for a shot just inside the 18 which bounced off the keeper’s hands and was tapped in by Anderson Branch for the last goal of the day.
