Michelle Pait, Elementary School Principal
mpait@vcanc.com

I am blessed and humbled by the opportunity to serve as your Elementary School Principal and I am very excited about the future of Village Christian Academy. I realize the enormous impact we as Christian educators can have in the spiritual and academic lives of our students and am truly grateful for the many educational and spiritual opportunities and experiences God has laid in my path in preparation for this servant-leadership role.
I am a 1994 North Carolina Teaching Fellows Secondary Mathematics graduate of North Carolina State University. In 2003 I obtained my Masters of School Administration from East Carolina University with School Supervision and Curriculum Specialist certifications. I have served in the field of education since August 1994 as a North Carolina Public Schools high school and middle school mathematics teacher, high school assistant principal, and elementary assistant principal. I joined the VCA family in August 2004 when my oldest son was enrolled as a Kindergarten student. I joined the VCA faculty in August 2005 and served for three years in the role of high school mathematics teacher before transitioning into the administrative role of Elementary Principal.
Every student is a wonderful creation of God endowed with gifts, talents, and abilities. These characteristics culminate in a unique personality designed to fulfill the ultimate purpose of serving God. My goal is to help each student become more fully prepared to face future challenges both academically and spiritually. I will love each student fully, challenge them thoroughly, and maintain a standard of high expectations both academically and spiritually. Learning each student’s characteristics and being an integral part of their growth and development is both an awesome responsibility and a wonderful blessing.
Please join me in diligent prayer for each student, parent, guardian, teacher, and administrator, that God will bless our efforts in working as partners to ensure an excellent program of academic and spiritual growth. May our faith be centered in Jesus Christ and our hearts focused on His will so that challenges will be met, obstacles overcome, and the doors will be open to the blessings He has promised.
