APPLICATION FEE: $75 per student for K through 12th Grade.

This non-refundable fee must accompany each student’s application or re-application to VCA. This fee covers the costs associated with the application process. 

NEW STUDENT REGISTRATION FEE:  $250 per new student.

This fee will not exceed $500 per family per year and covers the costs of processing a new student including records, screening, testing, orientation, interview, and billing.  

STUDENT RESOURCE FEE:  $350 per student K-12th grade.

This non-refundable fee is due for all returning students by June 1, 2010. New families will need to remit payment within two weeks of acceptance at the principal interview. This fee covers all textbooks and workbooks, classroom novels (excluding Honors/AP), student planners, SAT testing, student association dues, classroom teaching supplements, technology support, library maintenance, student insurance, and extracurricular activities including Fine Arts and all JV/Varsity Sports. In addition, the SRF covers capital improvements including the acquisition and improvement of our building and grounds. Additional specialized fine arts offerings such as piano keyboard, Suzuki violin, and ballet are not included in this fee. 

WITHDRAWAL FEE: $500 per student K-12th grade.

You are enrolling your child for the entire year; therefore budgets and teacher contracts are set accordingly. The early withdrawal of a student will create an opening, which VCA may not be able to fill with a viable candidate. The withdrawal fee is $500 which is due at the time of withdrawal. Official transcripts, report cards, and records will not be released or sent to other schools with any outstanding balance including the withdrawal fee.  

TUITION: Tuition may be paid in full at any time or paid monthly over a ten-month period. Monthly payments are due on the 5th or 20th of every month (you choose under FACTS) and begin August 5th. All installment tuition payments will be processed through FACTS. The cost to each family is $41 annually. If tuition is paid by credit of debit card, a 2.50% convenience fee is added. A discount of 2% will be applied if tuition is paid in full before July 1, 2010. A payment that is not received on time will be assessed a $25 late fee. There is a 15% tuition discount for 2nd child and a 30% tuition discount for each additional child.

Kindergarten thru 4th grade $4,415.00 yearly or $442.00 per month for 10 months

5th - 8th grade   $4,468.00 yearly or $447.00 per month for 10 months 

9th - 12th grade   $4520.00 yearly or $452.00 per month for 10 months

BEFORE SCHOOL CARE (BSC): $2 per day per child.

Parents only pay for the days the service is used; there is no contract. the hours of VCABSC  are from 6:00am - 7:30am. Students in grades K-12 will report to VCABSC if they arrive to school before 7:30am. They will report to the cafeteria to sign in. They are not free to roam the campus unless under the proper supervision of an adult. Before school accounts are processed through Renweb. Renweb accepts direct debit and credit card payments.

AFTER SCHOOL CARE (ASC): $7 per day per child.

Parents only pay for the days the service is used; there is no contract. The hours of ASC are from 3:15-6:00pm.  Students in grades K - 8 will report to aftercare at 3:15.   If students in grades 9 – 12th grade have not been picked up within 30 minutes of school dismissal, they must check in with ASC. They may not stay on campus unsupervised. High school students who drive may check younger siblings out of ASC with parental permission only if they are leaving campus. They may not check out siblings and remain on campus to include athletic events and school functions. Students may not sign other students out of ASC.

While under the supervision of VCAASC, students in grades K-6 will not be permitted to check themselves out of ASC to attend a home sports game. If a student in grades 7-12 wishes to attend a home game, it will be the responsibility of the parent or designated adult to sign the student out of ASC, or send a note on the day of a specific game giving your child permission to sign out. The note must be directed to Mrs. Renee Johns, ASC Director.

Our ASC program is provided for VCA students only as of 6:00pm. A $5.00 per minute late fee will be assessed after 6:00pm. After school accounts are processed through Renweb. Renweb accepts direct debit and credit card payments.

LUNCH COSTS: $3.25 for a hot meal with a beverage. $1 each for snacks and drinks

Delinquent Account Procedures

   
1. Tuition payments are due on the 5th or 20th of each month. Payments not received by the 5th or 20th of the month will be assessed a $25 late fee. 
2. A fee of $25 is charged for any returned checks.
3. Report cards, transcripts and diplomas are held in the office if tuition/fees are delinquent.
4. Any extra-curricular activity (i.e. athletics, fine arts, field trips, etc.) may be suspended.

If tuition payments are behind two months, the Finance Director and the Superintendent will call the family and request a meeting to resolve all delinquent accounts.  Failure to comply with the agreed payment plan will result in dismissal.

Re-enrollment will not occur until all delinquent accounts are paid in full.
