Check-Out Policies
Check-Out Period for BOOKS (F, 000-999, J, JF, E) 2 weeks
Check-Out Period for AUDIOVISUAL Materials (CD, DVD, VHS) 1 week
Check-Out Period for REFERENCE Materials (R) Overnight
PROFESSIONAL Collection (P) - contains materials for Faculty use ONLY.

Village Baptist Church members 4 books
Check-Out Limits on Audiovisual Materials:
2 title limit
High school students and adults may check out CD’s & videos.

Fines
Late fines are assessed at $0.25 per day for the regular collection with a maximum fine of $5.00. The charge for reference books is $.25 per period in the school day.

Lost Books
If a book is lost or damaged beyond use, the replacement cost will be assessed by the media coordinator. |

Lost Library Card
Beginning September 1, 2005, there will be a $5.00 charge to replace a lost library card.

Damaged Books
Damaged items are assessed on a case-by-case basis. |

Book Return
Books should be returned to the wooden bin located in the media center to the right of the circulation desk. |
 |
Restrictions
No food or drinks are allowed in the Media Center.
Keep noise down to a reasonable level. If you must talk, please whisper quietly.
If your group must discuss a project or assignment, please try to sit separately from those trying to study or read
