Good tidings

Luke 2:10

And the angel said unto them, Be not afraid; for behold, I bring you good tidings of great joy which shall be to all the people:

Our pastor, Dr. Richard Lee focused on this portion of scripture in a recent Christmas message. He had us repeat the phrase, Good tidings...of great joy...to all people. It struck a chord with me as I thought about God’s purpose for Village Christian Academy.

We have the distinct privilege of sharing not only the good news of the gospel with our students but also the good news of God’s presence, His protection, His provision and His promise. These four P’s should bring us great joy. To know that we are loved, cared and provided for by the Creator of the universe cannot and should not be taken lightly. The final thought though is that this good news of great joy is to all people. At this Christmas season let us celebrate every student that

God has brought to us and recommit to doing all we can to share with them the good tidings of great joy to all people!
