ACADEMIC ENRICHMENT PROGRAM
The Academic Enrichment Program (AE) is a place for students to receive supplemental and/or remedial instruction in reading, language arts and math. Students may also receive curriculum support in other areas of instruction. The academic enrichment program supports the regular education program by providing opportunities for students having difficulty to receive Individualized, direct, explicit instruction in basic skill areas and provides instructional support for students to complete classroom assignments given in other classes. The academic enrichment teacher collaborates with classroom teachers to monitor student progress and to develop plans to meet the needs of the students.
ACADEMICALLY GIFTED PROGRAM
Village Christian Academy offers an Academically Gifted (AG) program for qualifying students in the areas of reading and math in grades 3 through 7. Our program is a content replacement program which allows students to go to the AG lab for reading and/or math each day. Writing, computer skills, science, history, and biblical concepts are integrated into a rigorous math and reading program. Students work at a quicker pace which will allow them to be prepared for more advanced classes once they enter high school.
