Elementary School

The elementary day begins at 8:00am with morning prayer and announcements.  Students have an opportunity to lead the daily opening beginning in second grade.  Each Wednesday, chapels are provided by teachers, assistants and guest speakers. Chapels begin with praise songs, followed by a message following the school theme for the year.

Spiritual development is important at all levels of a student's life.  Love, trust and obedience are the focus of elementary goals for spiritual growth.

In addition to a full academic curriculum through ABEKA, Village offers enrichment through the K-2 Discovery Program and the 3rd-5th grades Academically Gifted program.  ACSI Competitions throughout the year include Math Olympics, a Spelling Bee and Art competition.  Students spend class time in the elementary computer lab and science lab for additional opportunities in exploration and growth

Throughout the week students spend time in specials classes that include: Art, Physical Education, Music, Computer, Library and Spanish.
